Today was my last day of school. Although I am very happy summer is officially beginning, seeing the kids leave is always sad. You see them everyday for 10 months and then all of a sudden, they are not there anymore. I have had students grow so so much this year and I am so proud of their progress. I have had the chance to have students who worked hard and always gave their 100%! I wish them all the best for next year, as they embark on their new adventure that is high school. :)
End of year has been exhausting!! Wow! And the weather has not helped! We got to 45 degrees yesterday with the humidity!!! That is hot my friends! With a bunch of kids in a classroom and barely no air.... this was NOT fun to deal with in the last week! but hey! I shouldn't be complaining... because at least it's sunny and I was able to enjoy my pool :) Anyways, I have had barely no time to blog and my creativity has been.... well let's just say it has not been anywhere!! I've been working on a Safari themed literacy pack for weeks now! I can't seem to get it done! I'm hoping summer will allow me to create create create! I want to get some products in my little TPT store before back to school!
I wanted to show you a project I am about to start. I found this chair not too far from my house (waiting to be picked up by the garbage truck) the other day and begged my boyfriend to go get it for me.
Obviously it needs a major makeover! It was destined to be thrown away after all! My boyfriend has to fix it as it is broken. Then, I can get started on the painting! It is important to mention I am NOT a crafty person! Making crafts is always a challenge for me and the results are
I found this adorable chair made by Mrs. Williamson.
I guess I can make something as cute as this....right? I mean I MUST be able to paint dots!!
I will show you pictures once I am done!
Ok so I am off to work on my Safari unit!
Until next time,

Good luck with the chair! I totally understand the craft thing. I really want to be good at making things but I just can't!

I can't wait to see what you do with that chair! I would love to makeover an old chair for my room too. Who knows, yours might be the next big "pinspiration!"
