Planning and February things

Valentine's Day is almost here, which means it's almost mid-February, which means time is flying by!
I can not believe my maternity leave is almost over and that I'm going back to work in less than a month.
I am beyond excited to start a new journey!
The First Grade Journey!
I've currently been in full on planning mode for my return.
I've been looking at some Teacher Planners on TPT to purchase for the four months I will be working until summer vacation.
I usually buy one in August, from a colleague, but they are all sold out at this point so I figured I'd look through some TPT store to find one that I might like.
I found a few but haven't made my final choice yet.

Here are some of my favorites:

By Darlin' Little Learners

I really love the fonts she used and the simplicity of it all, which seems like it would be a breeze to use!

By The Teacher Wife

This one is beyond complete and has a nice simple look to it. I love how everything is black and white inside which is the color I'm going to be printing it.

The chalkboard look is what originally made me want this planner. The cover page is super cute! But it's what's inside that's so awesome. This planner is huge! However, I'm still debating if I need such a big planner for such a short period of time. I know I won't be printing the entire planner but still.

The inside of this planner reminds me of an Erin Condren planner. It looks really cute and easy to use. I love the notes section.

I have to make a decision soon because I need to print this planner and start filling it out!
Have you ever purchased a planner on TPT?
Do you have any suggestions?

In other news, if you haven't already, you can take a little look at my most recent TPT product:

This set is great for morning work, group work, centers, sub days or early finishers.
They are really easy to use: simply print and go!

Also, if you are looking for a last minute idea for Valentine's Day on Friday, you can take a look at my Sweet Valentine Literacy Centers.

I hope you all have a great Valentine week!!

Until next time,

Sweet Valentine!

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone had a great back to school day! (For those of you who were lucky enough to only go back today!) Today was a teacher work day so I was able to take down my Christmas decorations in my classroom and do MUCHO grading! Tomorrow, the kids are coming back. The next two months will be pretty hectic for us as we will end our academic year the last week of February. So we've got a LOT to do!  I'll try to make it as fun as possible for my kiddos so they are not too overwhelmed! Hopefully I will succeed!

On an other note, I've added a new product to my TPT store.... Sweet Valentine! Valentine's Day is right around the corner.... well in a little bit over a month.. but in teacher time.... that's soonish! If we want to plan and prepare and be ready in time, we need to start thinking about Valentine's Day now! I came up with fun literacy centers all about love, hugs, pink and red :)
